modern replica field cannon carriage, taken from original erly plans.
A 4-pound Blomefield Pattern cannon was a type of British artillery
piece that fired a 4-pound round shot. It was designed by Blomefield and
followed a specific pattern with a standardised bore diameter of 25/24
of the round shot diameter. These cannons were used during the late 18th
and early 19th centuries
